2 Inspire Peace and The Art Inspired Healing Collective with our partners the South Dallas Cultural Center presents "He Gone Cry in The Car" An Artistic Exploration of Black Male Pain.
This event will showcase and highlight how Black Men face and do not face their issues.
Mental Health is real in our community, and its time to Heal Brotha Heal!
6pm-7pm
Featuring a visual artist gallery walk and social hour highlighting Black Male artist such as @RaSun
7pm-8pm
Also featuring live performances by poets @Reign of the Brown Suga Lounge. Musical performances by Brandon Kareem and King Ron
8pm-9pm
We will close out the night with a panel discussion hosted by Dallas Weekly's CEO @Patrick Washington and Art Inspired Healing's Co-founder GNO. featuring former Dallas Cowboys great Greg Ellis, the founder of A Steady Hand @Donald Parish and others.
A special presentation of the poem He Gone Cry in The Car by King Shakur.
Refreshments provided, and there will be mental health resources.
