On May 30, 2026, we are transforming the iconic Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park into a living laboratory where Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math Become Pathways to Peace.

From 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, this isn't just another school fair or tech expo. This is a thoughtfully curated environment designed to bridge the gap between rigorous STEAM learning and the essential practice of mental health. We believe that innovation shouldn't come at the cost of our well-being: instead, we’re showing the world how healing, education, and creativity can fuel one another.

A Collaboration Rooted in Community

We are so excited to announce that this year’s festival is a powerful collaborative effort! This vision is brought to life through a beautiful partnership with the Moody Fund for the Arts, TJ Hunter Engineering Firm, and the City of Dallas Office of Arts & Culture, alongside key partners flowOURS and our host site, the Texas Discovery Gardens. This initiative continues to reflect the kind of community collaboration that makes big, meaningful ideas possible.

By bringing together organizations that value creativity, innovation, and wellness, we are creating a space that honors the need for restorative practices while sparking the curiosity of the next generation of thinkers, artists, makers, and engineers.

The Canvas: Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park

Choosing the Texas Discovery Gardens as our home for the STEAM Festival was a deliberate choice. There is something inherently scientific and deeply artistic about the natural world. As you walk through the lush greenery and butterfly habitats, you’ll find that the environment itself acts as the first layer of our "Serenity" theme.

The festival will span the indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring that every corner of the gardens is filled with opportunities to learn and exhale. Whether you’re exploring the tropical conservatory or the scenic outdoor trails, you’ll be surrounded by the perfect backdrop for a day dedicated to the "A" in STEAM: Art.

For the builders and the dreamers, our Hands-On Build Spaces will be buzzing with activity. And don’t forget to catch the action on the Main Stage! We have a packed lineup of performances that blend music, poetry, movement, and community joy. Guests can look forward to appearances by Dab the DJ, Yezi Williams (Movement Empress), Lyrik Hunter with poetry, and Dance Lyfe. Each performance adds another layer of rhythm, expression, and inspiration to the day.
